Daryl Worley signs with the Raider

Daryl Worley was a free-agent for a week before signing with a new team.

Two Sundays ago, Worley found himself arrested and without a job in the span of twelve hours. Police found him passed out in the early morning hours in a car blocking a street near the Philadelphia Eagles practice facility. He was subsequently Tased, arrested, charged, posted bail, and released by his new/old team. The Eagles had just acquired Worley via a trade from Carolina in March.

He signed with the Oakland Raiders on Monday, joining fellow Mountaineers Bruce Irvin and Karl Joseph. Corner was seen as a definite position of need for the Raiders to target in this week’s NFL Draft, and Worley started at that position for two seasons with the Panthers.

However, he is facing several charges, including driving under the influence as well weapons and disorderly conduct charges.
