John Flowers Comes Up Big In OT Win for the Saitama Broncos

Former Mountaineer John Flowers had another big game for the Saitama Broncos in the Japanese BJ League. The rookie forward had 26 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 blocks for the Broncos in an overtime victory against the Kosai Phoenix.
Flowers hit on 5 three-pointers in the game. The Broncos record now stands at 4-6 on the season.
Flowers also had 26 points in a game last week against Ryukyu  prompting Broncos head coach Dean Murray to offer up praise for Flowers that might even make Bob Huggins smile:
"First of all, John is the best leader we have on our team," Murray said. "He always comes to play hard every day, and it carries over. He has a great work ethic by himself. Even this week, he got hurt in practice on Tuesday and didn't practice for a few days."
