The Nighthawks traveled to Vegas last Saturday and lost 30-10 in a game where the Hawks were overmatched. Noel Devine played sparingly and had 1 carry for -2 yards. The Nighthawks are the first professional football team to employ a spread offense. In this version of the spread, the Nighthawks have a nearly 2-to-1 ratio of pass to run. That means fewer opportunities for Devine to run the ball. He does get targeted in the passing game coming out of the backfield. Devine has 1 rushing TD on the season for the Nighthawks through 4 games.
